GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB, AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT

SITUATIONS VACANT

Applications are invited from the candidates possessing the required educational criterion and professional competency up to 15" December 2016 to fill up the following vacant positions in the districts given below on contract basis under a developmental project "Punjab Irrigated Agriculture
Productivity Improvement Project" being undertaken by Irrigation Reforms Wing of Punjab Irrigation Department with the assistance of the World Bank.

Qualification:

Matric with three-year diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Auto and Farm Machinery or Civil Engineering from any recognized technical board of Punjab.

The recruitment. purely on contract basis, shall be effective up to 30-06-2017, extendable subject to the continuity of project and satisfactory performance.
The posting of successful candidates shall be made in those districts where the employment is accepted. which is non-transferable.
Contract could be revoked with payment of one month salary or one month advance notice sans assigning any reason thereof Likewise, in case of quitting employment. a one-month salary or one month written advance notice will have to be tendered as a must.
A maximum relaxation of five years shall be granted in the upper age limit under the prevalent rules of government.
The employees recruited on contract shall not be entitled to pension, Provident Fund and GP fund nor will deduction of any kind be made from their salary under this head.
The employees recruited on contract shall reserve no right to regularization on the subject or any other post. Moreover. they shall not be entitled to seniority on account of such recruitment.
Applications written on a plain paper by interested persons must reach the office of Director General Agriculture (irrigation Reforms) Punjab, 21-Davies Road, Lahore by stipulated date during working hours.
Copies of degrees. certificates. computerized identity card, domicile certificate duly attested by any gazetted officer as well as one fresh attested photograph must be attached with the application.
Government employees send their applications through their respective departments.
Separate intimation shall be issued for test/interview later on. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates coming tor test/interview. They will have to produce original documents on the day of interview.
The selection of candidates shall be made in accordance with the Recruitment Policy issued by Government of the Punjab on 17-09-2004.
Candidates must have domicile of Punjab.
